Holi _ The festival of colors
Today is the day of Holi - the festival of colours. The day when people throw colours ( gulal ) and water at each others. Last time i played holli was probably in my tenth standard, exams( preperatory) were going on so i played only for a couple of hours before my mom chased me to my room;-). Even in the school, everybody would be waiting for the final bell to ring, to throw holi colors at each other, a few of us used to rush to the house to avoid getting drenched in colored waters. Those days were fun. Today after 8 years i got to play it again, thanks to Anant. Today was one of the unusally calm days in the office( main reason being absense of Anant :-p ) utill lunch , but soon after lunch at around 2 Ananth comes to the office, fully colored, with a couple of packets of gulal powder, and the fun started. Initially all were reluctant to come out and play with colours, but after a few mins of trying to come up with excuses everybody joined outside the office and started putting colours on each others. After a few mins even those who did not want to get colored could not resist and joined us. We had a hell of a time, by the end of it we were all colored beyound recognition.












PS: My right eye is a little different because i recently got stung by a Bee.
